  • 3 private laser coaching sessions with me (beginning, mid, and end of program)*
  • 2 weekly group movement classes for 8 weeks (class type/style varies each week; 45 or 60 minutes each; 16 classes total)
  • Weekly group coaching session with relevant topics and themes (60 minutes each; 8 sessions total)
  • Weekly strategies to help you stick to your goals with small, daily steps

This program opened my mind & heart to the idea that consistently showing myself love & kindness was not a self-indulgent act, but instead a necessity to becoming a better version of myself and a necessity to achieving real changes to the the things in my life I want to change.

Why Weightless? …And Why Tra?

There are thousands of coaches, personal trainers, and yoga teachers out there, so why should you choose here and how?

First of all, I have been where you are. Up until I reached my mid-30s, I spent a lifetime in obesity. At 100 pounds overweight, I thought I would never have a good relationship with my body. When I was a young teen, I tried every fad diet, fasting, diet pills, cleansing, and not eating. You name it, I tried it. And nothing I did was healthy or long-lasting. At age 36, I decided I had to do something different. I could no longer bear the heaviness of my heart or the additional pounds on my body. I have been where you are. I know how it feels to be uncomfortable or unhappy in your own skin.

But I couldn’t do it alone. I sought accountability with my own coach, hired a personal trainer, and took stock of what I was trying to fill or avoid by abusing my body with harmful and unloving habits. I started to move more, exercise regularly, balance out my diet, and balance out my life! In about a year’s time, I lost over 100 pounds and have maintained a healthy lifestyle for over 15 years.

Outside of my personal journey, the last 16+ years of my career have been dedicated to helping people cultivate a better relationship with themselves and aligning their daily activities to that inner compass. As a life coach, personal trainer, and yoga therapist, I have spent nearly two decades studying behavior science, understanding habitual patterns, and creating tools for people to build strength (physical and mental), increase resiliency (physical + psycho-emotional), and come into greater body-mind alignment.

You may not need to lose 100 pounds. You may not need or want to drop any weight at all. Weightless isn’t about “losing weight”….  it’s about releasing our heavy burdens and creating a life of greater vitality and lightness.

I was given tools to address my feelings of overwhelm and anxiety. Rather than dissolving into despair, or turning to un-helpful means of soothing my overwhelm and anxiety (i.e. booze, overeating, numbing out), the program helped me develop a set of (healthy) tools to use when I am overwhelmed, anxious or depressed.

The next session of the Weightless program is now forming.

The teaching was very logical and so relatable that I felt comfortable exploring my personal stuff—also sharing with the group—which I found gave me a new perspective that has caused a shift in my mindset and my actions.  This program has made me nicer and more forgiving to myself, and has also given me a deeper understanding of how my mind and body react to stress.

I am discovering ‘the self’ that was buried under so many layers and years of not understanding and being true to myself. I can now say “I love you” to myself. I am proud of the work I have done and am grateful this program showed up in my inbox when it did.

I learned the importance of approaching goals in a more organized & realistic manner. Also that in order to achieve a goal, one has to understand the conditioning that has prevented forward movement. Learning to shift one’s way of thinking or being is a huge challenge. I believe that tools and support provided will continue to assist me on the journey.
